CFUWNB Faculty of Education and Professional Studies Scholarship
Is awarded to a North Bay and Area female student who demonstrates academic proficiency who is continuing full time studies in a program, other than in the Schulich School of Education, within the Faculty of Education and Professional Studies at Nipissing. The recipient exhibits excellent leadership skills, with preference going to a student who also demonstrates a strong work ethic, compassion and perseverance.

The Knowledge First Foundation Anokiitage Social Work Scholarship
Established by a generous gift from the Knowledge First Foundation. This is awarded to an Indigenous student enrolled in the professional years of Social Work who has a minimum overall average of 75%.

The Clifford Ironside Memorial Nursing Student Bursary
Awarded to a Nipissing University student, enrolled in either the BScN program or the RPN to BScN Blended Delivery Program, who demonstrates financial need. The recipient must have excelled in their practical placements and have demonstrated a passion for the profession and an eagerness to learn. Preference will be given to second or third year students. The recipient must be nominated by School of Nursing Faculty members, preceptors or placement coordinators.

The Amy Gervais Memorial Award
Established to honour the remarkable life of Amy Gervais. Amy was a determined, kind, spirited
nursing student who overcame many challenges in life and made time to pursue her education.
This award recognizes a mature student in their final semester of the RPN – BScN Bridging Program who has had to overcome adversity while demonstrating strength, character, and a commitment to pursuing nursing education. The recipient must demonstrate financial need. -
Stockfish Family Startup Award
Awarded to an ambitious young entrepreneur enrolled in ADMN 3306 - Introduction to Small Business Administration who intends to start a small business, preferably in the North Bay area. Students must submit a detailed business plan and will be required to pitch their business to a panel of judges. Recipients will also be required to report back on the use of their funds. Application details will be provided by the ADMN 3306 instructor.

BSW Award for Outstanding Contribution to Professional Social Work Leadership in Northeastern Ontario
Awarded to a graduating fourth year BSW student who demonstrates an outstanding contribution to social work leadership in Northeastern Ontario. The recipient, who will receive a certificate at Convocation, is selected by the School of Social Work on the recommendation of the Social Work Departmental Group.

TD Meloche Monnex Award in Social Work
Awarded in support of the donor's community initiatives and in conjunction with the Nipissing University Alumni Advisory Board. It is presented to a student in the Bachelor of Social Work program who has demonstrated financial need and community involvement.

Matthew Williamson Memorial Award
Presented annually to a student in the RPN to BScN Bridging program enrolled in NSGD 4027 Clinical Practicum - Preceptorship (currently, or intending to enrol in the current academic year, pending confirmation from the department of Nursing) who is working in the Niagara Health System. Students are required to submit a short paragraph outlining why they are deserving of the award based on financial need and /or describe how this award will help support their academic pursuits.

Assante 101 Award
Presented to a full time upper year student who has excelled (minimum 70% average) in the Bachelor of Business Administration Financial Stream. Preference will be given to a student in the Financial Product Sales focus. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Rotary Club of North Bay Award
Awarded to a full time student enrolled in the Bachelor of Social Work program who demonstrates financial need and is a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Preference is given to a student in third or fourth year who demonstrates dedication to the North Bay and Nipissing community through their involvement in community service.
