Marine conservation discussion at NU

Nipissing University is pleased to welcome Neal Tyson to campus for a special presentation,Fiji’s Oceans in Crisis: Problems and Solutions, on March 21 at 7 p.m. in room A122.
Tyson is a third-year Marine Conservation student at Central Connecticut State University. Drawing on his 2015 research trip to the Fijian Islands, Tyson will reflect on the biology and geography of the Fijian reefs.  He will also speak to the global challenge of marine conservation and what is being done to address threats to the marine environment. The presentation will be followed by a Question and Answer session.

The event is co-sponsored by the Nipissing Branch of the Canadian International Council (CIC), the Nipissing University Student Biology Society and the Nipissing University Student Biology Club.

Admittance is free, however, registration is required. Please register with theonline registration system, here, before March 21. Seating is limited.
