About the role:

At Engage Education, we’re currently looking for engaging and student-centred Primary and Secondary teachers to work as supply/substitute teachers at successful, forward-thinking schools at various locations throughout England, to start in September 2026.

You will become part of our guaranteed supply teaching roster, which will guarantee you 5 days of work every week, during the guaranteed periods of the school year, within 1 1-hour travel distance from the hub location you choose to be based in. We are committed to developing our staff to achieve their full potential and extend this opportunity exclusively to our Canadian-trained teachers, to give you the financial stability to make the move to England and provide a good work-life balance to prioritise travelling/sightseeing during your time abroad. You are able to transition into a long-term ongoing position at any point in time and most teachers do, once they find their feet.

If you are an ambitious teacher who is passionate about teaching and capable of delivering outstanding, creative lessons, we would love to hear from you. The school is happy to consider NQTs as well as those with more experience.

The ideal applicant will be:

  • A qualified teacher
  • Experienced in teaching primary and/or secondary-aged students in your designated subject area
  • Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • An outstanding teacher with a love of children and teaching
  • Able to inspire and innovate in the classroom
