Rate of Pay: | $17.60 per hour + vacation pay in accordance with the ESA |
Job Description:
The incumbent will assist with a longitudinal research project exploring attachment bond formations between kindergarten children and their educators.
Duties Include:
The RA will support selected aspects of the project including:
- Research ethics review and amendment submissions
- Drafting recruitment documentation
- Literature reviews
- Data collection
- Organizing data tracking
- Preliminary data analysis
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a current Nipissing University student
- Previous voluntary or paid work experience with young children and/or in the education or early childhood education sectors;
- Experience searching academic databases;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to be an independent worker and an active team member;
- Ability to meet online and in-person
- Some travel (day trips) is required;
- Bilingual French/English would be considered an asset.
