The finest university ringette teams in Canada will be in North Bay this January and next, competing for gold medal glory as Nipissing University hosts the University Challenge Cup (UCC), aka the national championship for university ringette, in 2013 and 2014.

Spaces are filling up quickly, but there is still time to register for the Lakers Hockey Camp. Registration is open for the hockey camp, running next week, August 20 – 24, and August 27 – 31, at Memorial Gardens.

Shine your dancing shoes and grab a knife and fork for dinner, dancing, and a night on the town, all in support of Shinerama and Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

First-year students who will be attending Nipissing University this fall are getting the jump on their studies this week and next as the university hosts New Student Orientation (NSO), and Kristen Brazeau, can hardly wait.
