NSO is held in the summer to help you and your supporters prepare the transition into university life well before the start of the academic year in September.

Nipissing University's Office of Student Learning and Transitions supports students in their transition to university, and in developing their academic skills (Academic Writing, Academic Reading, Study Skills, Time Management, Organization, Math skills, Science Skills, and more!) Make an appointment with one of our learning coordinators, drop-in to our Academic Skills Drop-In Centre, visit us to sign up for Peer Tutoring, or to become a Peer Tutor, for help with your Record of Student Development, or to get involved with The Mature and Transfer Student Network.
