Lakers Winter Orientation is designed to prepare you for course selection and registration, review important financial information, introduce you to the programs and services available to you, and connect you with the supports and resources to answer any of your transition questions.

Are you or your student group looking for seed funding to get a project started? SIF can help! Student projects help build a vibrant student life on campus but often cost more than an individual student can afford. Nipissing University is committed to supporting student initiatives to bring academic, cultural, and recreational projects to life.

Survivors have the right to choose whether or not to file a complaint with Nipissing University, police, or civil proceedings. Supports will always be available and accessible regardless of a survivors choice to file a formal complaint.

Career development is a proactive approach you take to create the work and life you desire. It is much more than getting a job. It is a lifelong process of learning and growing.

The Academic Skills Drop-In Centres are accessible to all Nipissing University students and provide a peer support network and resource. Peer Educators who operate the centres bring a wealth of experience from a variety of departments. They are trained in helping students on a one-on-one basis with general academic skills such as study strategies, note-taking skills, time management strategies, and more. They are able to provide students with academic resources and referrals to other services.
