Aboriginal author speaking to students
My NipissingSolomon is the creator of the comic Rabbit and Bear Paws, which follows the story of two mischievous Ojibwa brothers in 18th century North America. In 2005, he started Little Spirit Bear Productions, a First Nations Multi-Media company created to share the humorous adventures of Rabbit and Bear Paws. Solomon is the grandson of Native Traditional Healer and Justice Activist Art Solomon. -

2011 Honorary Degrees Announced

An honorary degree will be bestowed upon: Dr. Charles Pascal, Alton Bigwin, Grand Chief Stan Beardy, Suzanne Brooks, David Liddle, Dr. Mark Tremblay, Sister Priscilla Solomon, and Keith Lickers. -
New Chancellor to push for continued success at Nipissing
GeneralNipissing University’s third Chancellor, Dr. Jon S. Dellandrea, CM, was officially installed today in a special ceremony. He was appointed to a four-year term as Chancellor by the university’s Board of Governors on Monday, September 13, 2010.
