The university honoured seven outstanding individuals with honorary degrees during convocation: Dr. Charles Pascal, Alton Bigwin, Grand Chief Stan Beardy, Suzanne Brooks, David Liddle, Dr. Mark Tremblay and Sister Priscilla Solomon.

Polish up that tailgate and get ready for some fun! Nipissing University is hosting the second annual Tailgate Party and Lakers Hockey Game on October 23, from 4 - 6:30 p.m. in front of Memorial Gardens, right before the Lakers face off against the Ottawa Gee Gees at 7 p.m.

Dr. Barbi Law is working on a simple solution to help all children develop their physical skills and confidence in their abilities, a solution that doesn’t involve registration fees, equipment costs or 6 a.m. practices, one that starts with a skill that every child has in spades: imagination.
