Position Title: Summer Athletics Student Therapist Staff

Closing Date: April 22, 2026

Employment Dates: May 1st, 2026 – August 31st, 2026

Hour of Work: 20 hours per week

Rate of Pay: $17.60/hour plus Vacation Pay as determined by HR Policy

Job Description:

A Student Athletic Therapist will assist with providing immediate care and injury assessment to student-athletes during practices and games. They assist in developing and implementing rehabilitation programs under the supervision of certified athletic therapists, maintaining accurate injury records, and ensure proper use of therapeutic modalities and equipment.

Duties Include:

  • Assist with supporting preventative measures including taping, bracing and educating athletes on injury prevention
  • Collaborate with coaches and certified athletic therapists to ensure comprehensive care
  • General upkeep and cleanliness of the Athletic Therapy Clinic
  • Attend home and away games of varsity programs as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Must apply and be approved for the NUWORK Program
