Team Canada’s Kendra Fisher to speak on mental health journey

The event, part of Fisher’s North American post-secondary speaking tour, will take place in the Nipissing Theatre (F213, 100 College Drive, North Bay) and is open to the public. -

That is why they are collaborating to enhance mental health supports offered to their students. The two institutions will share in the $375,621 project funding announced earlier this week by Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli. -

GeneralThe International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (IDERD) was established by the United Nations in 1966 to commemorate the Sharpeville Massacre of 1960. It is observed every March 21 to bring the world community together to increase its efforts in the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination and racism (United Nations, Resolution 2142, XX1).
