Nominations open for Dave Marshall Leadership Awards
Do you know an outstanding Nipissing University student leader deserving of recognition? Nominations for the 2022 Dave Marshall Leadership Awards are open until January 31, 2022.
Each year, Nipissing University recognizes 25 full-time students with a Dave Marshall Leadership Award. Students may be nominated for their outstanding leadership in one of three categories: academic, campus, or community. Academic nominations must come from faculty, however nominations for the campus and community categories can come from anyone.
The Dave Marshall Leadership Award is a prestigious, non-monetary award in recognition of the dedication and leadership that Dr. Dave Marshall demonstrated during his 18 years of consecutive service as the Dean of Education and President and Vice-Chancellor of Nipissing University. Dr. Marshall’s tenure at Nipissing University reflects his commitment to higher education, vision for the future, and leadership in external community service. These were all characteristics reflective of Dr. Marshall’s position at Nipissing University and are qualities embodied in the students chosen for this award.
