NU student Cassidy Brooks represents Nipissing at 3MT® Regional Competition
GeneralOn May 14, 2025, Cassidy Brooks, a Master of Science in Kinesiology student at Nipissing University, took to the stage in Toronto to represent the University at the Ontario Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Regional Competition. One of just 12 competitors from universities across the province, Brooks delivered a compelling research pitch to an audience of scholars, science communicators, and celebrity judges. -
Racers ready and set to go for this second annual event

New consortium aims to transform social work field education in northern Ontario

Two Nipissing University students selected for prestigious Canadian Battlefields Foundation Study Tour

Nipissing University receives transformational gift to expand and enhance rare dementia research, support and education nationally
GeneralEarlier today, Nipissing University announced a transformational $5M investment to support the continued development and national expansion of Rare Dementia Support Canada (RDS Canada). This gift will support the expansion of dementia research, support services, and education, as well as help establish a dedicated space to house RDS Canada - a centre committed to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by rare and young-onset dementias.
