What happens when you combine a love of reality TV with academic expertise in art history and critical media studies? For Dr. Wendy Peters, Associate Professor of Gender Equality and Social Justice in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Nipissing University, it led to a fascinating new research publication. 

Nipissing’s talented and knowledgeable group of researchers extends beyond its faculty members to include both undergraduate and graduate students. On Tuesday, March 26, Nipissing highlighted the prowess of its graduate students at its annual Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT®) in the Nipissing Theatre. This University-wide event challenges graduate students to present their research to a panel of non-specialist judges in an engaging, compelling way, in under three minutes.

March is Research Month at Nipissing University, and the community is invited to take part in a series of events throughout the month designed to celebrate the diverse research happening at the University and its impact locally, nationally, and internationally.
