NU Graduate Skaai Davison will do her MSc at Oxford University in England

Skaai Davison is heading for Oxford University in England this fall to do an MSc in Embryology. She prepared herself to make this leap across the ocean by excelling in all the Biology, Chemistry and other courses she took at Nipissing University during her four years here. She made good use of specialized upper-year courses to distinguish herself from other students who are competing to get into Graduate School at Oxford University.

For instance, Skaai gained experience with medical practices by assisting an Orthopedic Surgeon in BC through our Internship Course, and she conducted an impressive research project, as part of our Thesis Course, that involved studying quail embryos that had been exposed to the types of chromate chemicals that caused a major health disaster in China!
