Fine Arts opens doors to high school students

Nipissing University’s Fine Arts department recently welcomed more than 80 local high school students to campus to provide some insight into the program.

The students were treated to a series of workshops in Art History, Screen Printing, Figure Drawing, and Painting. As well, they got the chance to hear visiting artist Ryan Price, from Guelph, discuss his drawing and printmaking work.

Students participating in this pilot project came from St. Joseph-Scollard Hall, Widdifield, Odyssée, Almaguin and Northern.
