Nipissing University is proud to host its inaugural Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT) on March 21, 2014 from 3 – 5 p.m. in room F210.

The seventh annual Undergraduate Research Conference, March 21 – 22, is the place for the next generation of Ontario’s scientists, scholars and researchers to show the world their research.This conference is a showcase for student work and a chance for students to share and network with peers from Nipissing and other Ontario universities for future collaborations.

The expertise of Nipissing University’s Math and Computer Science department, and the effectiveness of the Science, Engineering and Mathematics Camps, was rewarded by the Federal government on May 22, with the announcement of four prestigious grants from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada (NSERC).

While developing new cancer fighting molecules, Nipissing University professor Dr. Mukund Jha is also working to make important chemical reactions more efficient and eco-friendly.

The NU Undergraduate Research Conference is a celebration of learning, collaboration and the creation of new knowledge.
