Nipissing University is holding a memorial service to honour the life of Benjamin John Kuyt on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Ben was a History student who had just completed his second year of study at Nipissing’s North Bay campus.

Clara Hughes, six-time summer and winter Olympic medallist, is speaking at the Capitol Centre about mental health and her own recovery, on May 23, at 7 p.m. Hughes will be sharing her past struggles with depression in an effort to help break down the stigma associated with mental illness.
