Both Marcus Lewis and Marcos Clennon were named to the OUA All-Rookie team last week thanks to being two impact players for the Lakers this season and sitting one and two in team scoring. -
Ringette ends season on a high note
AthleticsThe Nipissing University Ringette Club played their final event of the season at a tournament in Niagara Falls, where they met teams from four other schools from across Ontario and proved that they can compete with the best teams in the province.
Graduate Honoured for Excellence, Respect and Compassion
During this year’s convocation ceremonies, Nipissing University celebrated Maria Cristina Aguilera Valle, a Master of Science in Kinesiology student whose dedication to others has earned her the Chancellor’s Medal for Humanity. Established in 2025, the award honours a graduating student who demonstrates compassion, kindness, and service to others while making a meaningful impact within their communities.
