The Nipissing University Political Science Association (NUPSA) earned some serious hardware recently in Canada’s capital city at Carleton University’s Model NATO conference.

History has been made.The Nipissing Lakers women’s hockey has its first two national award winners, as forward Kaley Tienhaara and defenceman Zosia Davis were named to the CIS All-Rookie team.

The Nipissing Lakers Nordic team had a breakthrough day in the individual classic race with its first gold medal at the CCUNC National Ski Championships.  Team skier Kajsa Heyes stomped the competition, winning in convincing fashion with a 6.9 second lead on second place over the 1.5 km course.
