Nipissing University is celebrating five individuals with an honorary degree, the university’s highest distinction, during convocation 2017, June 7 – 9 in North Bay.Nipissing is bestowing honorary degrees to:Tom Jenkins on Wednesday, June 7 at 2 p.m. Clint Malarchuck on Thursday, June 8, at 9:30 a.m. Dr. Lynnette Leeseberg Stamler on Thursday, June 8, at 2 p.m. Jeannette Corbiere Lavell on Friday, June 9, at 9:30 a.m. Roy Slack on Friday, June 9, at 2 p.m.

During her three years working in residence and summer accommodations, Hodson used her understanding of student life to create a marketing campaign that led to our highest intake of returning students living in residence.

Nipissing is proud to announce the new Dr. David Liddle Memorial Award in Education, recognizing his dedication and passion for education. The inaugural award, worth $300 will be presented to a student during the upcoming convocation ceremonies at Nipissing University, June 7 - 9, 2017.
