Students raise big money for Cystic Fibrosis research

Shinerama Students

Nipissing students were out in force over the past weekend, washing cars, carrying groceries, cooking hamburgers and putting a shine on the community in support of Cystic Fibrosis research for the annual Shinerama campaign.
Hundreds of students celebrating Nipissing University Student Union's (NUSU) Frosh Week raised money at 12 locations around North Bay, Powassan, Sturgeon Falls and Callander.

Thanks to the student’s enthusiasm and the community’s generosity, a total of  $12,764.69 was raised to fight Cystic Fibrosis.

NUSU offers thanks to the communities and businesses of North Bay, Powassan, Sturgeon Falls and Callander for their continued support and donations.

NUSU will continue to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Canada throughout the year. Follow NUSU on Facebook orwww.nusu.com to keep an eye on future Shinerama events.
