Lakers Dance Pak showcase helping Sick Kids

This Saturday, the Nipissing Theatre is the place to be to see some amazing dance moves while providing support for Sick Kids Hospital.

The Lakers Dance Pak is hosting a dance showcase on April 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Theatre (F213).  They’ll be performing a series of choreographed dances that they used in competition this year, with styles in hip hop, jazz, contemporary, tap and more.

The performance is a fundraiser in support of renovations to Marnie’s Studio, a program that encourages art therapy for children located at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. All proceeds will go directly to the Sick Kids Foundation.

Tickets are available in advance for $5 from Lakers Dance Pak team member Karli Krumins at kakrumins982@community.nipissingu.ca.  Tickets will be available at the door for $10.
