Residence Life Team wins Spirit Award

Nipissing University's residence staff recently shared some of what makes Nipissing’s residences so great, taking home the coveted Spirit Award at the 32nd Annual Residence Life Conference January 27-29, hosted by Trent University in Peterborough. The theme of the conference was Rez2.0. It featured an amazing slate of programs, professional development and school spirit. Nipissing’s delegates showed a high level of enthusiasm, school pride and energy for both Nipissing University and residence life, making them the natural choice for the Spirit Award.
The residence department sent 10 residence delegates, both Dons and Residents' Council Executives (Sarah Partridge, Andrew MacKereth, Katherine Chapman, Alysha Young, Sarah Gatto, Kaitlyn Wall, Sean Connors, Crystal McLeod, Megan Robar and Joseph Burt) and three professional staff (Katie Calcaterra, Sterling Webb-Crowe and Brian Cunha).
