Nipissing hosting national ASAC 2014 Conference
Nipissing University is pleased to announce that they will host the annual Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) 2014 conference in Muskoka at Deerhurst Resort, May 9 – 13.
Nipissing’s successful bid to host the conference was announced yesterday, during the current ASAC conference, taking place in St. John’s Newfoundland. In 2013 the conference will be hosted by Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta.
The theme of the 42nd ASAC conference in Muskoka is Sustainability and Innovation in Work and Leisure. It will attract about 500 faculty members and graduate students from university business schools across Canada and around the world. This is the first time Nipissing has hosted the ASAC conference and the first time the conference has been held in Northern Ontario.

The conference will provide a forum for idea exchanges about management research, teaching and practice in Canada while being surrounded by the beauty of Northern Ontario. It’s going to be a great conference.”

ASAC is a professional society of those interested in the scholarship, teaching and practice of management. Members are based in business and related faculties at Canadian and international post-secondary institutions as well as private and public sector organizations.
