Join the action at Nipissing’s International Food Fest

Nipissing’s popular International Food Fest is getting ready to call everyone to the table for March 11, and there’s still room available for you to get involved to help make this year’s festival another delicious success. The organizers are currently recruiting for the followingFood providers and/or donors,Volunteers to assist with set up and take down and logistics at the event,Performers (singers, dancers, etc.), andDonations (silent auction items, gift cards, monetary, supplies, etc.).The International Food Fest is an annual fundraising event for the WUSC Student Refugee Sponsorship Program. To date, this program has enabled three refugee students to obtain an education at Nipissing University. With the monies raised at the Food Fest, we will be able to continue to assist refugee students with their educational endeavours. The Food Fest also promotes cross-cultural understanding through the things everyone in the world enjoys: food, music, art and dance.We invite you to take part in this celebration of diversity and civic engagement! The event is scheduled for Sunday, March 11, at The Wall Bar and Grill from noon to 2 p.m.
Our WUSC committee members and volunteers will be working diligently in the next few weeks to coordinate this event. The registration deadline has been set for Friday, February 17.  Please register as soon as possible to secure your booth and/or space.
