Calling all vegetarians

The Nipissing University Vegetarian Society is holding its first potluck lunch on Friday, December 9, at noon in room R306.

Anyone interested in attending is asked to bring a favourite vegetarian/vegan plate to share.  A microwave and sink are available to use as needed.Guests should plan to bring their own utensils.

All are welcome to attend.

The Nipissing University Vegetarian Society grew organically.Upon arriving on campus this past September, criminology professor and vegetarian Nestar Russell, realized there were a number of vegetarians on campus who were unaware of each other. She decided to start the group to build awareness, discover new recipes and enjoy good food and company.

Currently the group is made up of faculty, staff and students, all sharing a common interest in eating, especially vegetarian food.
