A new memorial award honouring the life and work of longtime NU professor Dr. Doug Franks is in the works and you can help make it a reality. The Dr. Doug Franks Memorial Award will be presented annually during convocation to a graduate of Nipissing’s Bachelor of Education program who is enrolling in the Masters degree program.

Brook Doseger came to Nipissing University in 2010 as a student in the Schulich School of Education Concurrent Education Program. Her creativity and enthusiastic personality quickly established her as a promising educator.

Nipissing University Athletics is pleased to announce that the Lakers men’s and women’s volleyball teams will begin play in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) in September 2013.
