The following information pertains to current Ontario high school applicants (regardless of status in Canada) and domestic (Canadian Citizen and Permanent Resident) high school or transfer applicants.
International applicants (excluding current Ontario high school applicants) who are studying in Canada on a study permit or studying in another country with no status in Canada should contact the International Admissions and Recruitment Office at internationaladmiss@nipissingu.ca for information on decision timelines.
Undergraduate
Current Ontario High School Applicants
- Nipissing make offers on a rolling basis.
- Offers of admission start as early as November, and we continue to make offers as midterm/interim/in progress and final grades are received.
- We do not make admission decisions to Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (BPHE), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and Bachelor of Arts in History with an Orientation to a Master of Arts in History (OMAH) until late April/early May.
Current Canadian High School Applicants
- Nipissing make offers as files become complete.
- Decisions typically are made within 14 business days after a file becomes complete.
- We do not make admission decisions to Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (BPHE), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and Bachelor of Arts in History with an Orientation to a Master of Arts in History (OMAH) until late April/early May.
- Applicants should check WebAdvisor regularly to track receipt of required documents. Login information is provided in your acknowledgement package that is mailed to you. A checklist of required documents will appear under Important Documents – Outstanding/Received under the Prospective Student menu. Please allow up to 7 business days for any documents received to be reflected on WebAdvisor.
Applicants to BScN, BPHE and OMAH
- Most decisions for Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (BPHE), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and Bachelor of Arts in History with an Orientation to a Master of Arts in History (OMAH) are made in late April/early May.

- January intake: Decisions are released approximately the end of November.
- September intake: Decisions are released approximately the end of June.
- To check if we have received your documents, please login to WebAdvisor and look under Important Documents – Outstanding/Received under the Prospective Student menu. Please allow up to 7 business days for your documents to be reflected on WebAdvisor. Any documents will be dated as received for the date on which they arrive in our office.
BSW Professional Years
- Decisions are released in May.
All Other Applicants
- Nipissing make offers as files become complete.
- Decisions typically are made within 14 business days after a file becomes complete.

Graduate
- Decisions take approximately 1 to 2 months AFTER the documentation deadline or after all documentation has been received for late applications.
- Decisions are emailed to the email listed on your application.
Consecutive Education
- Decisions are released on February 1.
- Those receiving an offer of admission will receive an email followed by a mailed offer package.
- All other decisions will be emailed to applicants using the email provided on your application.
Post-Baccalaureate Diplomas and Certificates
