Students are required to submit a short paragraph outlining why they feel they are deserving of the award, with specific reference to their strong work ethic and positive attitude, and how this award will support their academic pursuits. -
Indigenous Student Technology Award

The student must also demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to a student in a graduate studies program or a student in their 3rd or 4th year in an undergraduate program. -
Shelby Dickey Memorial Scholarship

The award recognizes a female member of the Nipissing Nordic varsity ski team who demonstrates excellence in athletics, academics, and leadership. The recipient is selected by the Nipissing Lakers Nordic Skiing coach staff, in consultation with the Student Financial Aid office. -
Gloria Margaret Moreau Onyett Memorial Award in Education

The Gloria Margaret Moreau Onyett Award in Education will be presented annually to two students in the Nipissing University Bachelor of Education program. The award will be split equally between a first year student and a second year student and will be awarded based on academic excellence. Preference will be given to students from the Algoma Region. -

To qualify, students must submit a short paragraph about how being part of a military family has impacted them and how this award may support them in their studies. Selected recipients will be asked to show documentation which may include a military ID, a CF1 card, or any posting message or discharge message (personal information or discharge reasons are not required) -
The Clifford Ironside Memorial Nursing Student Bursary
Scholarships, Bursaries & AwardsAward Value$1,000.00Awarded to a Nipissing University student, enrolled in either the BScN program or the RPN to BScN Blended Delivery Program, who demonstrates financial need. The recipient must have excelled in their practical placements and have demonstrated a passion for the profession and an eagerness to learn. Preference will be given to second or third year students. The recipient must be nominated by School of Nursing Faculty members, preceptors or placement coordinators.
