The recipient is selected on the basis of financial need and a strong academic record by the faculty in the School of Nursing. The recipient must also be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. -

Lynnette Leeseberg Stamler Excellence in Nursing and Community Service Award
Scholarships, Bursaries & AwardsAward Value$850.00Awarded in the fall term to a full-time upper-year student in the Bachelor of Science Nursing program who demonstrates academic excellence (minimum 70% average) and dedicated community service in health care. The recipient must have previously qualified for a Nipissing University entrance scholarship but no longer qualifies for any of the university’s entrance scholarships in upper years. The recipient must also demonstrate financial need. The final selection is made by the faculty in the department of Nursing. -

It is presented annually to a full-time or part-time student who: 1) actively volunteers in community projects and/or 2) is involved in varsity or intramural athletics at Nipissing University and 3) maintains a solid academic record (minimum 75%). Preference is given to students who promote community volunteerism. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. -
