Homecoming is here – last call for registration

That weekend you circled on your calendar — the one with the amazingly fun Tailgate Party, the Alumni Awards, the Nearly Naked Mile and all the hockey action — that weekend is here! That’s right, folks, it’s Homecoming 2013!

Lucky you, there is still time to register, but just barely, the deadline is TODAY (Wednesday, October 23). Don’t miss out on any of the fun, there are three convenient ways to register:register now at www.nipissingu.ca/homecoming, or visit A201, or check in at the registration table in the Student Centre Hallway.

Homecoming Weekend is all about celebrating Nipissing University and its collective achievements with the people who make it such an exceptional place.

The Alumni Awards kick the weekend off in grand style in the Harris Learning Library on Friday at 7 p.m. Nipissing University will celebrate the achievements of four graduates with alumni awards and recognize one individual with honorary alumni status at the annual Alumni Awards Reception. To attend the reception, please email alumni@nipissingu.ca to RSVP.

Saturday is chock-full of fun, from an illusionist to Lakers women’s hockey and from the Nearly Naked Mile to the tailgate party and Lakers men’s hockey.

The fun keeps rolling on Sunday with the Lakers women’s hockey team taking on the University of Toronto at 7 p.m.
