Congratulations to Brian T. Thorn, instructor in the English department, on the publication of his book, From Left to Right: Maternalism and Women's Political Activism in Postwar Canada (UBC Press).

Nipissing University’s Board of Governors approved the 2016-17 operating budget at their regular meeting on June 2. The university is projecting revenues of $66,567,837 and expenses of $71,279,170, resulting in a projected deficit of $4,711,333.

Taulu has been a volunteer, a research assistant, and now an honours thesis student with Nipissing University’s Integrative Watershed Research Centre. She has contributed to several community-based research projects in partnership with the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority.
