Paws for Cause Pet Food & Fund Drive

Students in the GEND-2326 Pets class at Nipissing University have rallied together to organize a Paws for Cause Pet Food & Fund Drive, a community initiative to support local animal rescues and pets in need. The event aims to make a meaningful impact by gathering essential supplies and donations for Shady Acres Feral Cat Rescue and All Heart Pet Rescue.

Throughout the month of November, the Paws for Cause team will be seeking donations of dog and cat food, liver-based dog treats, pet accessories, pet toys, cleaning supplies, carriers, and large pee pads.

Donation bins can be found in the main foyer of Nipissing University and locally at Giant Tiger Lakeshore, Foodland Callander, Lisa’s Doghouse, the Northgate Shopping Centre.

Monetary donations are also being accepted via the Paws for Cause Go Fund Me page. All donations will be directed to Shady Acres Feral Cat Rescue and All Heart Pet Rescue who work tirelessly to provide shelter, medical care, and loving homes for animals in need.
