Nipissing University will provide $3.76 million to students in the form of scholarships, awards, bursaries and graduate funding this academic year. To celebrate the generosity of donors, and provide important and meaningful connections with the students receiving funding, the university held the annual Student and Donor Awards Social last week.

The party has officially launched for Nipissing University’s 25th Anniversary as an independent degree granting institution.Nipissing officially turns 25 on December 10, 2017, and you can look forward to a year of celebrations and events to mark the occasion.

Anthony Rota, Member of Parliament for Nipissing – Timiskaming, was on campus yesterday to announce a $962,500 investment at Nipissing University. Rota made the joint federal-provincial investment announcement on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development.

Congratulations to Dr. Thomas Ryan, who has been invited by the Provincial and Territorial Distance Education Association to be a keynote speaker at the Alberta Distance Learning Centre this October in Edmonton, Alberta.
