Lakers fall short against Ravens

Both Nipissing Lakers soccer teams were in action last Saturday taking on the Carleton Ravens on the road.
On both the men's and women's side, the Ravens are strong teams and earned victories in North Bay earlier in the season.

Women's Soccer
?Saturday afternoon, the Nipissing Lakers women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision to the Carleton Ravens. 

Kristen Farkas scored the lone Lakers goal and Kelly Dunk got the call in net, but took the loss.

The women, who now sit with a 2-6-1 record which places them eighth in the division, are back in action today at 1 pm vs. Ottawa. 

Men's Soccer
The Lakers men's soccer team was shutout by the Ravens, losing 3-0.

Daud Dahir scored all three goals for the Ravens.

The Lakers are now 2-4-3, good for nine points and fifth place in the division, one point up on Laurentian, who they play Wednesday to conclude the season series. The teams tied 1-1 in the Lakers home opener.
