Nipissing University invites applications for part-time course instructors for the Winter 2027 semester.
Qualifications:
- A PhD in Education or closely related field
- A Bachelor of Education and master’s degree
- Demonstrated successful teaching experience as evidenced by a teaching philosophy, strong teaching evaluations, and/or other relevant achievements related to teaching
- Certification as a registered teacher with the appropriate licensing authority (e.g. Ontario College of Teachers)
Duties:
- Responsible for all instruction and evaluation for the portion of the course to which they are assigned
- Will be available to meet with students outside of the official classroom time
- Complete mandatory training requirements, review and follow Nipissing University's policies and procedures
Courses Available:
Winter Term: January 4, 2027, to February 12, 2027
- EDUC 4751 - Teaching English Language Learners
- EDUC 4801 - International Teaching
