“I am proud to be part of a community where all the people are very nice and involved in the student’s life,” shared Clémence. “I am proud to be part of a community where there is no judgment. I am proud to be part of a community where everybody wants to reach excellence by helping each other.”

Clémence hopes to eventually work in the events industry, supporting large-scale sporting events.

When describing her experience in Canada and at Nipissing, she said the kindness and friendliness of students, staff and faculty members is something that stands out.

Thanks to the activities organized by NUSU, Clémence made friends and felt at home quickly. Conveniently located on campus, she found the Nipissing Townhouse residences were the perfect place for socializing: “Living in house share was one of the best parts of my experience as I learned a lot about Canadian culture, shared so many good times, laughed a lot, and enjoyed life thank to the best roommates I could have,” said Clémence.

Clem returned to France at the end of the fall semester and brought back with her fond memories of her time at Nipissing. “I will miss the Canadian mindset, kindness, and all the friends I made during my journey.”
