Welcome to the Academic Advising website.  Here, you will find lots of useful information to help you throughout your undergraduate academic career.  If you are looking for advice, greater clarification or information on one of our particular services check out the various links throughout this website, like our Freqently Asked Questions (FAQs) and quick links web pages or feel free to send us an Ask an Advisor email.
 
Our primary focus, as professional academic advisors, is to enhance your learning experience and development.  We assist you in exploring your academic opportunities (and addressing academic difficulties) in order to foster your individual potential towards a rewarding and successful academic experience.  Our values include a responsibility to each student we advise and to the faculty, an involvement of other university resources in the advising process, and a responsibility to the university and to higher education.
 
Our goals include assisting you in making an informed and responsible decision regarding your academic programs, seeing the value in learning, setting priorities and making realistic plans.  We do so by providing accurate information about the university, its programs, policies, procedures and resources.
 

If you have questions during the year, please make an appointment to see an Academic Advisor.  Drop-in hours are also available weekly while Aboriginal Initiatives Outreach Advising and Muskoka Advising are available throughout the year (please contact our office for more information).
