Biography

Rick Vanderlee is a Full Professor and the founding Dean for the Faculty of Applied and Professional Studies at Nipissing University.  

He has held several faculty and administrative appointments in both academia and health care for close to 30 years.  Previous academic appointments include Dean of Arts of Science (Interim) and Director for the School of Nursing at Nipissing University; Associate Dean and faculty member in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Calgary; Director for Learning and Development in the Calgary Health Region; faculty member at Laurentian University and the University of Western Ontario; and several nursing positions typically in acute care and intensive are settings.
