Presented to a selected student who is participating in international exchange activities through Nipissing University. The recipient must also demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Established in memory of Shelby Dickey, a Nipissing University student and accomplished member of the Nipissing Nordic Ski team. The award recognizes a female member of the Nipissing Nordic varsity ski team who demonstrates excellence in athletics, academics, and leadership. The recipient is selected by the Nipissing Lakers Nordic Skiing coach staff, in consultation with the Student Financial Aid office.

Established to honour the life of Shelley Buttimor. Shelley was a Nipissing Alumna graduating from the Bachelor of Education program in 1988. This award recognizes her passion for physical activity and her love of hockey. The award is presented to a full-time female student in the Bachelor of Physical and Health Education program. The recipient must also demonstrate academic achievement. Preference will be given to a student who currently plays hockey (competitively or recreationally).

Presented to a female student enrolled in her third or fourth year of a four-year program (preferably in the Humanities) with a minimum 70% average in her major, who was admitted as a Mature Student or as a college transfer and who is deemed deserving by the Awards Committee. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Established to honour the lives of Janet Morton and her parents, Bill and Helen Smith and to recognize their dedication to the North Bay community. It strives to encourage dynamic and creative people to become potentially outstanding teachers of history. The award is presented to a student in his/her final year of full-time study, majoring in history at Nipissing University, who plans to pursue a Bachelor of Education degree in the following year, either at Nipissing University or at another university. The recipient will demonstrate an enthusiasm for history through his/her studies at Nipissing University, both inside and outside the classroom. The recipient must also demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Students are nominated by the faculty.

Presented annually to a full-time student graduating from the Junior/Intermediate division of the Schulich School of Education. The recipient must possess superior leadership skills and talents within an educational setting. Students are nominated by the Schulich School of Education. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Presented annually, in memory of Stacey Koebel (B.Ed. '00), to a graduating of the Schulich School of Education who expresses a desire to teach in Canada's far north (Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut). First choice in selection will be given to a student in the Primary/Junior division. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Students are nominated by the Faculty.

Established to honour the life of Stan Michael Lawlor, this award recognizes his dedication and desire to encourage and promote History studies at the graduate level. It is presented to a deserving, graduating student in History at Nipissing University who plans to pursue graduate History studies in the following year, either through Npissing University or elsewhere. The recipient must demonstrate enthusiasm for history through his/her undergraduate studies at Nipissing University, both inside and outside the classroom. The recipient must also demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Students are nominated by their department.

Presented to a graduating student in the Primary/Junior Division of the Schulich School of Education who excelled in the Mathematics Education course and who was graded highly successful in his/her practice teaching placements. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Students are nominated by the Faculty.

Presented to a full-time, upper year student enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program with a minimum average of 75%. Preference is given to students in the accounting stream. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.
