Vice-President, Finance and Administration

Renée Hacquard is the Vice-President, Finance and Administration at Nipissing University. A Chartered Professional Accountant with experience in higher education, social services, and public accounting, she brings strong financial leadership and deep institutional knowledge to her role. Bilingual in English and French, Renée is committed to supporting sustainable growth and advancing the University’s strategic priorities.

The Office of the Vice-President, Finance and Administration is responsible for Finance, Marketing & Communications, Advancement, Human Resources, Facilities, including major and minor capital projects, University Technology Services, including Faculty & Administrative Support Services, Print Plus and Telecommunications, Institutional Planning & Analysis, Campus Sales & Services, Risk Management, including Insurance, Athletics, and Freedom of Information and Privacy.

Advancement & Alumni Relation

Nipissing University's Advancement Department actively engages with alumni, volunteers, community, and friends of the university in support of Nipissing University's priorities.

Campus Sales & Services

Campus Sales and Service supports the university community by providing sales, service, and operational support for campus-related needs and activities.

Facilties

Facility Services keeps the campus functioning – from the buildings you walk through to the spaces you book for events, classes, and meetings.

Finance

The Finance Office manages the university’s financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payments, procurement, financial reporting, and student financial services.

Freedom of Information & Privacy

The Office of the Vice-President, Finance & Administration, as delegated by the President and Vice-Chancellor, has primary responsibility for administering has primary responsibility for administering Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA)

Human Resources

The Human Resources Department provides a full range of human resources services for academic, administrative and support staff.

Institutional Planning & Analysis

The Institutional Planning and Analysis Office supports university planning and decision-making through institutional data, analytics, reporting, surveys, and performance measurement.

Marketing & Communications

The Marketing and Communications Office serves as a strategic arm of the university which facilitates key marketing and outreach campaigns.
