North Bay, ON – On Saturday, October 24, Nipissing University will welcome hundreds of prospective students and their supporters to campus for its annual Fall Open House. The event provides an immersive opportunity to experience the University’s academic programs, facilities, and campus community firsthand.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., attendees can connect with faculty, staff, and current students to gain an authentic perspective on the Nipissing student experience. The day will feature drop-in program information sessions, a student support fair, and opportunities to learn about key services such as residence, the Office of Indigenous Initiatives, financial aid, and more. Guided tours of campus and residence will showcase Nipissing's state-of-the-art facilities, student-centred spaces, and scenic campus setting.
Participants are invited to bring their curiosity and questions about the many academic opportunities available at Nipissing, including the new Bachelor of Community Planning program, which will welcome its inaugural class in September 2027.
“We look forward to welcoming prospective students and their supporters to our beautiful campus to experience the welcoming and supportive environment that makes Nipissing unique,” said Dr. Kevin Wamsley, President and Vice-Chancellor at Nipissing University. “Our faculty, staff, students, and alumni are eager to share their experiences, answer questions, and help future students envision themselves as part of our community.”
