Nipissing U offering leisure learning courses for community this summer

North Bay, ON – Nipissing University is pleased to announce the launch of its inaugural Summer Series, a new lineup of leisure learning courses for community members. 

Summer Series courses offer learners of all ages and abilities the opportunity to explore new ideas, skills and hobbies by participating in fun, engaging sessions and workshops that will inspire the mind and connect participants to a network of life-long learners.   

Course topics include: Computer Basics for Seniors, Introduction to Macrame, Piano for Beginners, Mandala Painting, Knitting, Social Media for Inspiring Influencers, Meals Made Easy, Photography Tips and more.  

Hosted by local professionals, artists and educators, courses start at as low as $25 and are one to two hours long, with both face-to-face and virtual options available.
