A leading disability justice advocate and scholar, Dr. Withers will present “Disability Justice: Combatting Authoritarianism and Working Towards Abolition.”

Dr. Withers has spent over 20 years organizing for housing and disability justice, critically examining systemic oppression and grassroots activism. Their talk will explore the importance of disability justice in resisting authoritarianism and envisioning a more inclusive world.
