Please read the message below as it provides important information regarding registration for the Collaborative BScN program.
Students beginning the Collaborative BScN Program
Registration will open on June 30th at 9:00AM for students with transfer credits and on July 13th at 9:00AM for all other students.
Students entering their first year of the Collaborative BScN program will participate in Block registration by selecting placeholder blocks for both the Fall and Winter sessions. These placeholder blocks include all of the required 1st year courses for the Fall and Winter semesters.
Students will login to WebAdvisor and choose one placeholder block for the Fall session (NURS-1100) and one placeholder block for the Winter session (NURS-1200).
Courses included in the 15-credit NURS-1100 block in the Fall are as follows:
- BIOL-1011: Introduction to Molecular and Cell Biology for Nursing
- BIOL-2706: Human Anatomy and Physiology I
- NURS-1006: Professional Self-Awareness
- NURS-1016: Nursing and Health
- NURS-1026: Clinical Practicum: Nursing Healthy Individuals
Courses included in the 15-credit NURS-1200 block in the Winter are as follows:
- SOCI-1016: Introduction to Sociology
- BIOL-2707: Human Anatomy and Physiology II
- NURS-1017: Aging and Health
- NURS-1027: Clinical Practicum: Nursing Older Adults
- NURS-1037: Health Assessment
How to view scheduling information for your block
To view the timetable information associated your block, students must:
- Search for NURS-1100 or NURS-1200 in WebAdvisor and then click on one of the blocks to open up the section information.
- At the bottom of the section information page, consult the section titled: Additional Information. In this section there is a hyperlink to a PDF version of the timetable for that specific block.
Notes
- Students will be transferred into their respective course sections mid-August.
- Students who have advance standing/transfer credit for courses contained within the block must contact the Office of the Registrar to be removed from these courses.
