Chancellors House
Our Chancellors House Residence Complex is our largest complex and houses over 400 students. It is home to our Consecutive Bachelor of Education students as well as the majority of our first year Undergraduate students. It is located in a picturesque spot at the bottom of College Drive just minutes from the Main Campus. - page
Founders House
Our Founders House Residence Complex is the smallest of our Suite Style Residence complexes and houses around 200 students, but don’t get the idea that its size makes it any less great! It’s preferred by our Nursing students because it is within walking distance to the North Bay Regional Health Centre. It is located at the bottom of College Drive, adjacent to the Chancellors House Residence Complex, just minutes from the Main Campus. - page
Governors House
Our Governors House Residence Complex is located at the North end of our campus, near the Harris Learning Library and Robert J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre. It’s preferred by our Varsity Athletes because of its proximity to our Robert J. Surtees Student Athletics, so our residents never have trouble finding ways to show off their LAKERS pride! It offers students a picturesque view of our beautiful campus. - page

Nipissing University is a small residential institution with approximately 975 students, largely first year, living within our residence system. The University believes that first year students benefit greatly from the opportunity to live within the residence system and that their transition from High School to University is much easier as a result. - page

New Exhibit Honours Legacy of Paul Commanda and Indigenous Guides
A new exhibit, developed in partnership with Nipissing First Nation, Dokis First Nation, Nipissing University and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History (Pittsburgh), is now on display at the North Bay Museum, honouring the work of Paul Commanda, the Nbisiiing Guides and their contributions to science. Entitled Our Guides are Really Going Places/Nishnaabeg e-paamwingewaad waasa zhaawag: Nbisiiing Guides and the Legacy of Paul Commanda, the exhibit showcases the photographs and stories of the Indigenous Guides who led the Carnegie Museum expeditions that occurred between 1901 and 1958.
