Balancing passion, purpose and leadership on and off the ice
Durham Regional Police Constable and Lakers alumnus Frank Longo started on his academic path in criminal justice in his high school law classes, where he developed a passion for analyzing crime trends, criminal law, and psychology. At Nipissing University, he pursued a degree in Criminal Justice while also competing as a student-athlete. After graduating, he remained involved with Lakers athletics as a staff coach for the women's lacrosse team before launching his career in policing. - article

Their piece, Fire and Flood, examined humanity’s fragile relationship with nature, exploring themes of climate change and resilience.
