Nipissing hosts fall open house this Saturday

North Bay, ON – Nipissing University will welcome hundreds of prospective students and their supporters to campus (100 College Drive, North Bay, Ontario) on Saturday, November 4 for its annual Fall Open House, taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The day will begin with a Welcome Session hosted by Dr. Kevin Wamsley, Nipissing’s President and Vice-Chancellor. Students will then have the opportunity to tour Nipissing’s campus, facilities, and residences, attend program-specific presentations hosted by Nipissing’s knowledgeable faculty members, as well as presentations by various student service departments including Residence, Financial Aid, and Student Learning and Transitions.

Students can also attend a program and services information fair where they can chat one-on-one with various members of the Lakers community including staff, faculty and students.

“Fall Open House is a great way for prospective students to get acquainted with our beautiful campus, learn more about our programs and services, and most importantly, connect with members of our supportive campus community to get a taste of what life at Nipissing is like,” shared Sarah Taylor, Associate Registrar, Recruitment, Nipissing University. “We can’t wait to welcome so many new faces to campus and share with them the many advantages of being a Laker.”
