Canadian International Council (CIC) Nipissing District Branch Speaker Event

Canadian International Council (CIC) Nipissing District Branch is pleased to welcome our speaker for February, Mr. Howard Way, OBE. Mr. Way's presentation is entitled; “International Disaster Victim Identification”. He will be presenting to us at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in Room R308 at Nipissing University.

Mr. Way is an experienced law enforcement professional who served in London's Metropolitan Police and as a coordinator at the UK National Disaster Victim Identification Unit. He was also Chair of the INTERPOL Disaster Victim Identification Working Group, plus the London Mass Fatalities Working Group. He has significant experience in managing the operational response to mass fatality incidents internationally. Howard was awarded an O.B.E. by HM Queen Elizabeth II for services to Disaster Victim Identification in October 2015.
