In this session, Teaching Assistants will learn a model of lesson planning (BOPPPS) for active learning, while experiencing some active learning techniques along the way that can be adapted in a variety of disciplinary contexts. By the end of the session, TA’s will be able to use a template to plan a learning experience for in-person or online students that includes active learning.
